Violet Seboni Resources
At the time of her death on 3 April 2009 Violet Seboni was 2nd Deputy President of COSATU, and Deputy President of the COSATU-affiliated clothing and textile workers' trade union, SACTWU. A woman in her early forties, Violet Seboni was one of the five most senior elected National Office Bearers of COSATU. She was first elected in 2003, was re-elected in 2006, and was universally well-loved both inside and outside the 2-million strong COSATU trade-union federation. Violet Seboni's funeral takes place at the UJ "Vista" campus in Old Potch Road Soweto from 08h00 on Monday 13 April 2009.
