I agree with you cde Thami but I believe something has gone terribly wrong with the Prof. He seems to me a stubborn protégé of Mbekism, an unashamed defender of the elite and intellectually arrogant cabal that had seized control of the ANC until Polokwane. Lucky you never say him on E-tv on Sunday during the historic Siyangqoba rally where he accused the new ANC leadership of exploiting Mandela. "Elder abuse" were his exact words. It was enough to make you throw up. I'm learning to ignore him.
