Subject: SASCO and YCL March (North West University- Vaal Campus)- CALL FOR
TRANSFORMATION

SASCO MARCH: A CALL FOR TRANSFORMATION

SASCO and YCL in the Vaal Campus of the North West University are inviting
all the formations within the MDM to a protest march that is scheduled as
per details:

Date : 21st May 2009 (Next Thurday)

Time : 09H00

Venue: NWU- Vaal Campus (Vanderbijl Park)

We all know comrades that this Campus of NWU (formerly known as
Potchefstroom University) was one of the apartheid bastions in this country
and has produced a number of seasoned apartheid hardnecks. Also this
institution is one of the most untransformed educational ninstitutions in
the country and was also shown in the Mail Guardian weeks before elections.

The march will be calling for the transformation that should be in tandem
with the vision of our all inclusive democratic government. We are tired of
the institution that runs as if it's in the pre-1994 era while everyone is
moving forward.

The support of all, especially the youth formations, at different levels
will be a support in transfoming the retrogressive mindset that has engulfed
this institution. The branch is in the process of securing the national and
provincial and national leaders of PYA and the Alliance.

United we stand, divided we fall comrades. Mobilisation must be delivered to
this crumbling rock of retrogression, apartheid and economic exclusion.
