Chief, I understand the effect of what the bill of rights enshrine to al of you. What we want to know is what is that which you have done which contradict the CPUT Statute and SRC Constitution, that warrant the suspension of the 17 of you. You cannot claim innocent to this forum, and paint a picture of victimisation, while you do not tell us what is that battle you are fighting and at what level of Organisation have you consulted. I am rasing these views and questions informed my historical experience of the nature of SRC's behaving as law unto themselves and not accounting to the PYA. If you feel that you are victimised let SASCO, ANCYL and YCL take over the battles on your behalve. Lets the PYA take the lead and present your cases to University Council of determination. It cannot and it has never been hear that the leadership will wake up being suspended. Please tell us the full story such that we could assist.
Further, just like what we did in Unisa Pretoria, If these matter cannot be resolved by Campus PYA, invite the Regional PYA, Provincial and NEC to intervene. Further since this action has consequences on the governance, what then become the role of Student's Parliament/ Assembly? Until you can demonstrate that all these structures are aware, it becomes very difficult to get sympathy from some of us who understand the traditions of our Glorious Movements, which have capacity to intervene. Lastly, since these action render the SRC dysfunctional, what level of Intervention is SAU playing here to resolve the impasse?
