Cdes i wud like to take this opportunity and thank all of u for engaging in this forum since i am learning a lot. again i wud apppreciate it very much if anyone of u may send me some discussion documents most basicly by Karl Marx. you know when i started my politics not so long ago i came accross some cdes who told me that one cant grasp Marxism when he old but i beg to differ with that i believe i can as well be a marxist.
Makomanisi amahle aningitshele, what is your take on the cadre development in our structures and to government. I am afraid of the material gains in politics these days(some not loving the liberation movement but taking it as a tool to greener pastures) they tend to distort the life of the revolution, one cde raised a question of *"What is happening in SASCO KZN" *and i was clueless by that time this question is applicable to all structures mainly within the socialist movement. yes indeed Engels says "Mankind must first of all eat, drink, have shelter and clothing, before it can pursue politics...." in as much as i concur with him he is as well verymuch against greediness which is displayed by a lot of our cdes within the alliance. A discussion document by Dialego puts an emphasis that *'In South Africa itself, however.....following the national democratic revolution, the mechanised agri¬culture and developed industrial base (already created by the capitalists) would make it possible to build socialism much more rapidly''* so if this is the case will that happen when our leaders own and co-own businesses right, left and centre (i dout). Cdes is Socialism ever going to be built in SA, will it be so when you and myself are either communist by position or because we are poor. what is it that happens to a communist when he has got to power why does he change into a *"bold and the butiful life styles" * Cdes we are in a new era, a new struggle of class, i cant help but fear that we are fooled by some people who claim to be communists or socialists, now is the very correct time for socialism, i always say that Polokwane was a battle between socialism and capitalism but im afraid that our own Karl Marxis are going to let us down. indeed ANC is a broad church of politics but its a revolutionary movement, the time for socialism is now or never!!!!! lets engage!! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are subscribed.
