thobela, on the information provided by Cde. Floyd he made mention of differences in durations pertaining the Succession debate, at the same time Cde. Floyd as the NEC Member of both the ANCYL and the YCLSA agrees with points of views as raised by the youth Organs which he happened to sit in its NEC.
The YCLSA backs COSATU for raising the succession debate now to enable service delivery to take place smoothly as when we will be approaching the 53rd National Congress of the ANC we do not encounter a situation whereby those with leadership interest will be going all out to discredit those who are currently in leadership, but if the Succession debate is engaged into now, when the congress time arrives the air shall have cleared as contestations would not have any space as Zuma will be serving his second term. The President of the ANCYL at the same time argues that it is premature for COSATU to introduce a Succession debate as the leadership is not yet settled in Government Offices. Cde. Floyd is rightfully indicating that the positions as raised by YCLSA and ANCYL are not personal views but strictly Organisational, i therefore need clarity on the side of Cde. Floyd since he is belonging to the Highest Decision Making bodies of the two Youth Wings of our Allience Structures, since these two structures does not share perspectives with regard to the Succession debate what is his take on the matter as a disciplined cadre and youth leader. When you are at the event or meeting of the ANCYL are you oppossing the Introduction of the Debate or raise your personal view (which is what) and what is your deliberation when you are at the YCLSA 's event or meeting? i do not have any intention to devorce you from the Organisational Obligations to support or object the concensus but wish to be assisted to have a clarified point of departure whilst engaging, and as a member of both structures i also need to be assisted on how do i go by when articulating on the matter without bearing any technicalities. the request for clarity is not baised to Cde.
