Comrades This is indeed the kind of article that realy refers when we speak of thinking critically about the current challenges and how we respond to them. I do not know the author but think it can be of great use if discussedin our structures. we have almost unconsciously developed unquestioned and packaged responses to some of the issues facing us so much so we fail to see the answer when it is sometimes right before us. I think if progressive academics can provide such thought provoking insight from where they stand, we will have less possibilities of the "local elite" phenomenon taking root in our structures.
