Ok Its only now that I see this article was actyually penned by Xolela Mangcu. It is a good and provocative piece I must say. It is really time that we turn things around before the local government elections. we cannot blame the poor or a third force in all cases of protests. Lots of the time the protesters are also members of the organization which reflects on the efficacy of our structures, begging the question have they been consumed by elitism at a local level.
