SM You seem to have an idea of a purist revolution which can only exist in the realm of ideas. Even the ABC's that you refer to always had to contend with how the working class engages with state power in the context of capitalism. There is a recent article written by Cde Blade Nzimande on the interface between popular power and the state, as to how these can balance and interface with each other to ensure that we create a transformative state in the interest of the majority. Or is your view that communist should have nothing to do with state power until we have communism, can communist absolve themselves from todays affairs of government and the state whilst waiting like Christians for a divine World within which they will then actively take part? --- Sent from UnionMail Service [http://mail.union.org.za]
