Comrades, most of all he was kind, gentle, unassuming person with a wonderful sense of humour. We had the pleasure of working together as part of the first team of Cosatu Regional Educations Officers (including Amos Masondo) appointed in 1989. I have many fond memories of him. May his soul rest in peace.

On Monday he lost his revolutionary life to the same road. We are still shocked by his sudden departure. Something needs to be done about this notorious road.
