Revolutionary greetings cadres

Reports on developments surrounding the recent land deals in Africa between the
continent's governments and multinational corporations has left me confounded
in many ways hence the title of my posting. To me these are all but
manifestation of symptoms of the last stage of imperialism, neo-liberalism,
neo-colonialism.

Take for example Uganda, the community under the Buganda tribal authority took
to the streets to protest against hostile land evictions by local authorities
who're representing govt and multinationals only to be on the receiving end
of Ugandan police brutality - orchestrated by Museveni's administration.

Turning to other parts of the continent, locally, Agri-SA is in the process or
has signed a deal with the DRC government which will see South African farmers
being given land in the Congo for agricultural use to produce food in return
the SA farmers will enjoy relaxed business regulatory environment and
other freebies. I'm yet to hear of a single black farmer or cooperative
involved in this, notwithstanding the ever controversial transformation charter
of this sector.

I have an issue which begs the aforementioned question, if these flawed deals
are leading to such problems just amid implementation phase are we not going to
see dire consequences in a long-term and for our future generations? Up until
when are Africa's post-colonial governments going to fail the working class; .
Africa has all the natural resources required to sustain a vibrant
intra-continental agricultural trade, what then is the problem?

Is it not the right time for communists to take the lead in the Green
Revolution (I understand even ex-UN head Kofi Anan is also doing his part on
this). With regard to South Africa what is the civil sector groups doing to
transform the agricultural sector; i.e. Nkunzi, Landless People's Movement,
etc.

The struggle continues!
