2009 SACP RED OCTOBER CAMPAIGN LAUNCH, 04 OCTOBER 2009.
The SACP will this year commemorate the breakthrough of the Great October Socialist Revolution in the Soviet Union by holding commemorative events around the country under thetheme of a Quality Healthcare for All!!, Build People’s Power to Fight Corruption!!.
The victorious Soviet Revolution ushered in and signalled that there is indeed an alternative to capitalism which today as we launch our 2009 Red October Campaign is in one of its worst crisis since the 1920’s.
The launch of the 2009 Red October Campaign will be held as follows:
Date : 04 October 2009 Time : 10H00 Venue : OT Tambo Hall, Khayelithsa, Cape Town
The launching activity will be addressed by speakers form COSATU, the ANC, Cde Buti Manamela and the SACP General Secretary; Cde Blade Nzimande will deliver the key note address.
