Without sounding repetitive from the latter, Key to all what was said by Cde Luzuko is that there can't be a committed, selfless, discipline and patriotic cadre in the Congress Movement beside a cadre who would have joined the organisation because he/she felt strongly that she/he must contribute to his/her and the people's total emancipation from under-development, poverty, economic exclusions by all means, exploitation by the owners of the means of production, abuse of his fellow sisters, aunts, mom and girlfriend and from the corruption in government which robes his/her people of their well deserved better life. Such Cadre who did not have his membership fee paid by another comrade, who does not regard that comrade as the organisation itself, who can engage issues without fear or favour and objectively for the progress of the development of his community and the society at large. A cadre who would sacrifice his time and resources to advance programmes of the movement and would not expect any reward.
Comrades, political education programmes can produce comrades of the magnitude as aluded above. While that is possible we should not under-estimate the power of patronage which can undermine any amount of political education. So while we call for this revolutionary programme we should find a mechanism to diminish this political pundemic called patronage. The reason for raising the latter is that conference in, congress out in all structures of the movement resolutions on strengthening political education programmes are taken but because some leaders thrive in unstable and weak structures, they make it their occupation to sabotage endeavours for the implementation of this politically noble programmes. There can't be weak and unstable structures of any of our organiastions in the congress movement if we can ensure that this programmes are implemented. It aslo does not mean that for a political session to sit, it will require the higher structure to convene such, branches can initiate and then invite those that are more enlightened to facilitate sessions and that cannot be difficult.
