Cadres,

I found a good quote while I was without Internet and e-mail. It is from Karl Marx:

"No revolution can be made by a party, but By a Nation."

It comes from a newspaper interview with Marx, done by the Chicago Tribune's London correspondent on 5 January, 1879. Find it at:

Dear Comrades,

Let me refresh some memories:

  • This Google Group of ours where we are having this discussion has its own web site. It is at http://groups-beta.google.com/group/yclsa-eom-forum
  • On the Home Page of this YCLSA Discussion Forum Google Group web site you can find links to eight different Communist University "Generic Courses".
  • The first one of these is called "Basic Communism"
  • It is also available from the SACP web site

The recommended way of study is to distribute the downloadable document for reading, in advance, and then to have a discussion about it. The point is not to learn the text, whether it is difficult or easy in nature. The main purpose of having the a is to stimulate discussion.

It is only in discussion that social learning (shared learning) can happen.

The first part (out of ten) in the "Basics" course discusses the theory and practice of teaching and learning (i.e."pedagogy").

Comrades, we do not need a catechism, or "FAQs". We have to work with each other, in dialogue, from the beginning.

This is my opinion, anyway. I would welcome any discussion about it, whether you agree with me or not.

Let me apologise for my absence for the last six days. It was because of Telkom.

With best wishes,

VC

Thanks for the advices, it assisted me. I need BASIC DOCUMENTS which is
relatively similar to that of the ANC which is titled "WHAT IS ANC"
available in its website. Yes, I found the document of the SACP which
explain on 'WHO CAN JOIN THE SACP' but I need a document to be easily read
by new people (just ordinary community members of the very rural area (as
I stated on my request). The Historical Documents that I found from the
internet are easily read by us who understand and had an opportunity to
study. I could have written the document myself, but I needed to check
with cadres if there is a document which would assist in sharing basic
information about the SACP (what it is, stand for what, when was it form
and how, its charecter, policies and beliefs). If there is no such
document there is no problem, we will see what we can do. I hope cde VC
would heed the call made by comrades..........AMANDLA!!!!
