*A Respond to Mr Julius Malema statement in the Sowetan newspaper of Monday 23rd November 2009 titled 'We don't fear communists' *
* * *24 November 2009* * * I am writing this response in my personal capacity as a Young Communist League member from the Thys-Senyatso branch in the Kimberley district, Northern Cape Province. I am worried about the utterance of Mr (I call him Mr. Precisely because it is evident that consciousness has left him, and does not qualify to be called Comrade because he does not display any qualities of friendship 'Comradeship') Julius Malema when he had a conversation with journalists Kingdom Mabuza and Anna Majavu of Sowetan, and vowed that the youth will protect the ANC and that *'We don't fear communists'. * It is clear to me that this gentle person is an agent for the disruption of unity. In whose interest is he going to protect the ANC from communists? Is he going to protect the capitalist class? Because correctly as he puts it that the ANC is a multi-class organization and communists are fighting to influence the party but at the same time he says that they have a duty to protect the ANC. The media and the youth league has been calling on the left to participate on the debate of nationalization. And when the Deputy General Secretary of the SACP puts Politics not English to the Debate he is accused by Mr Malema of being a 'White Messiah'. Our DGS Cde Jeremy Cronin was to give more impetus to the gentle person and his cronies about the Political report adopted at the SACP 12th National Congress in Port Elizabeth in July of 2007, on the sixth (6th) chapter on SACP and the Economy in our South African Road to Socialism document said. 'Ensuring a more balanced growth and development strategy through *rolling back the domination of the mineral-energy finance monopoly capitalist *complex. The strategic importance of overcoming this private monopoly distortions in our economy and society, underlines the wisdom of the Freedom Charter's call to ensure that the wealth of our country is shared, and particularly that ' *the mineral wealth beneath the soil, the banks and monopoly industry shall be transferred to the ownership of the people as a whole'. *In the spirit of the Freedom Charter , the SACP supports a multi-pronged strategy that ensures that we increasingly *socialise *these commanding heights of our economy through a wide range of interventions'. I strongly recommend to the gentle person to go and read the position of the SACP on the above mentioned document and stop personalising issues, and defend what the ANC stands for and not individualist interests. He will one day pay dearly for his African Chauvinism tendances we warn you. *On the Young Communist League* Mr Malema continues to dismiss the the YCL as a fringe party with no political programme and membership. When the SACP took the resolution in Rustenberg in 2002 to re-launch the YCL it was not a mistake, because correctly as Cde Zwelinzima Vavi said at our re-launching congress in 2003 at Vaal university of technology that we must be a breath of fresh air, and in deed we have demonstrated that we are a force to be reckon. The Ufasimba as we are known to be, we attack without being deployed and the gentle person must not temper with the young warriors of the SACP because they will bite him. On the accusation of a fringe party with no political programme and membership. We pride our selves with a membership over 70 000 members nationally and continue with our Operation Khula recruitment campaign to have 100 000 members by 2010. It was in 2006 when we evoked the Defiance campaign. Defying Democracy without Food, Education and Work saying is no democracy, and we called on young people to join the struggle of Good over Evil by joining the struggle for Socialism over Capitalism and out of this we came up with the ten (10) youth demands for 2015. *Written by:* *Tshepo 'Footsoldier' Mogorosi* *YCL Branch member(Thys-Senyatso branch )* *073 094 6027 * --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are subscribed.
