Comrade Domza it is unfortunate that the ANCYL of today is not well intact in some of these mamorial speeches of our greates leaders, however it is our primary goal to enrich them with such knowledge of importance... It is further unfortunate that comrade Floyd failed to give direction as an acclaimed most advances resolute section of the working class.
I had read with discontent on today's Sowetan on what cadre Floyd gives impression of, then I had said to myself...this is not the leader I had elected in the National Congress of the YCL in some few years ago... Then...comrade Floyd showed sings of willingness in advancing the struggle for socialism... However my sight is different from now... Do not get me wrong, unlike some and himself I am not confusing his role as the Young Communist and that of him being the National Spokesperson of the ANCYL... his appointment as the national Spokesperson came to me as an added advantage for him to advance and give clear analytical dialectics within the ANCYL and towards the strengthening of both the ANCYL and the PYA. I am equally a member of the ANCYL and the YCL, fortunately I understand my role as both a member of these two vibrant organization, I shall in no time give an impression of being more lenient to the other than the other, It is equally my responsibility as both a member of the YCL and ANCYL to defend and direct progress, adherence, unity and tolerance in both these organizations, but for us to assume responsibility than the other is totally opportunistic. We are fully aware of the materialistic advantages of both organizations and truly these opportunistic tendencies advances by some pro-96 class project cadres existing amongst us are defeating both our historical Polokwane victory and the long struggle to democracy. Putting these matters in to perspectives... it is clearly noted by many and the society and the workers that the dislodged few existing individuals are in this space using opportunistically young vulnerable, ambitious power addicted members of the organization to advance various agendas to unsettle the hardly fought working relationship of the alliance. These is posing as policy deviations, organizational intolerance, ill-discipline, undermining of constitutional obligations, targeting of certain individuals, anti-working class and leadership credibility, and these have been posed as a threat towards the growing unti-communist behavior by some. These have led a few coed-minority to seek sympathy from the society posing as a communist take over and pluralistic of organizational principles is due to the influence of the communist within the ANC. this has came to these as a two forbable solution to them, Floyd been believed as their chief adviser on the nature and character of the Party... that one the reflection of the resistance by the know nationalist pro Zumanis towards the SACP and COSATU will firstly be a reflection of cracks of the Polokwane emergency, to their believe is that public ethnicity will that the marriage was of convenience based on the ousting of TM, and now that the goal is achieved all may part their ways. It is also of their view that if they push hard enough the SACP will then serve what they usual refer to as Divorce papers... But the class content of these few scenarios is that this is posing as a challenge for the ANC and since its current break away, view is that some syndicalism-deployed COPEeens, are to firstly annoy the public with the in-fights to paint a vie that the ANC is defeating towards its aims and with hope that as Mandela is aging the Traditional legacy of the Society to vote the ANC into power for their leniency to the old man would be dislodged as the current ANC will focus most of its energies in trying to resolve some amused internal fights. Factual Matters! 1. If the ANC, SACP and COSATU does not draw the line the strength of opposition will be embattled by our roles, as the energy will be dividend to focus on selfish defense amongst selves gratitude. 2. Personification and self attachments for some cadres to some individual leaders will further blind our role in defending the lagacy of the revolution towads it primary objectives It is upon us and a true revolutionary duty to go back to our drawing boards... ________________________________ From: Dominic Tweedie <[email protected]> To: YCLSA EOM Forum <[email protected]> Sent: Fri, February 26, 2010 1:09:18 PM Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] Fwd: Our Alliance ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Malesela Maleka<[email protected]> Date: 26 February 2010 12:43 Subject: Our Alliance To: "The ANC speaks here today, not so much as a guest invited to address a foreign organisation. Rather we speak of and to our own. For it is a matter of record that for much of its history, the SACP has been an integral part of the struggle of the African people against oppression and exploitation in South Africa. We can all bear witness that in the context of the struggle against colonial structures and racism, and the struggle for power by the people, the SACP has been fighting with the oppressed and exploited. Notwithstanding that it has had to concentrate on thwarting the efforts to destroy it, cadres of the SACP have always been ready to face the enemy in the field. Because they have stood and fought in the front ranks, they have been amongst those who have suffered the worst brutalities of the enemy, and some of the best cadres have sacrificed their lives. And so, your achievements are the achievements of the liberation struggle. Your heroes are ours. Your victories, those of all the oppressed. The relationship between the ANC and the SACP is not an accident of history, nor is it a natural and inevitable development. For, as we can see, similar relationships have not emerged in the course of liberation struggles in other parts of Africa. To be true to history, we must concede that there have been difficulties as well as triumphs along our path, as, traversing many decades, our two organisations have converged towards a shared strategy of struggle. Ours is not merely a paper alliance, created at conference tables and formalised through the signing of documents and representing only an agreement of leaders. Our alliance is a living organism that has grown out of struggle. We have built it out of our separate and common experiences. It has been nurtured by our endeavours to counter the total offensive mounted by the National Party in particular against all opposition and against the very concept of democracy. It has been strengthened through resistance to the vicious onslaught against both the ANC and the SACP by the Pretoria regime; it has been fertilised by the blood of the countless heroes; many of them are unnamed and unsung. It has been reinforced by a common determination to destroy the enemy and by our shared belief in the certainty of victory." - O R Tambo; Our Alliance is a living organism that has grown out of struggle -- You are subscribed.
