Cde Domza, I acknowledge the manner in which you raise issues and encourage debates in this forum. Your energy serves as a blessing for this forum as you have the ability to post a number of issues, and always find a way of triggering debates. However, the point I'm trying to raise here is not about your energy or abilities but about your deliberate attempts to mislead. Before I make my input, let me first say I never thought the shall dawn where you appear in an extremely Menshevik way like you just did.
I observed the manner in which you tried by all means necessary to disguise your reformist stance. You firstly started raising your point through riddles in ensuring that nobody gets your point correctly so, well for your information your task is incomplete. Remember cde Domza that the Mensheviks in Russia raised the same argument, during the 1905-07 revolution the Mensheviks opposed the working class and peasantry who were in open revolt. They believed that Socialism should only be achieved firstly through a bourgeois revolution (via reformism); following this revolution, they felt the working class and peasantry would then be able to revolt against the bourgeois, and establish Socialism. History tells us that after the successful bourgeois revolution of February 1917, most Mensheviks joined the provisional governance, strongly subscribing to the theory of Stagism. After the October Revolution the Mensheviks opposed the Soviet government, primarily through bureaucratic lobbying, though some members later joined the white armies. If one were to check the following, then we all shall be better positioned to understand why cde Domza debates from the angle in which he came from. More over, cde VC seem to have an understanding and a reasoning on the crimes against humanity committed by his bourgeois cdes. He is, one way or the other serving the same master as Malema whom Domza alledges he's capitalist. We as communists are told by cde Domza that the struggle for Socialism is irrelevant now, a position that is in contrary to what all communists believe when they say socialism is more relevant now than never before. People must desist from taking communist for granted, they must not behave like SA is the first country to achieve democracy in the world hence they speak of strengthening democracy before advancing to socialism. I always maintained a view that communists are dialectical and materialist, but given what VC said, convinces me otherwise. We are now being told of the endless democratic breakthrough that also includes Polokwane, as if it resolved progressively on the economic policy. However, I don't expect VC to understand Polokwane since he wasn't a delegate in such. His information on Polokwane is informed mainly by common sense which is an enemy of the revolution. All the Socilalist revolutions of the world did not wait for the strengthening of democracy, unless cde Domza is living in an upside down world. In any case Domza is not yet a revolutionary but an activist and such do not have a full understanding of the world. Cde VC tells us about understanding the NDR as if it is driven by communists when in reality it is driven by the ANC which is not socialist. The ANC version and interpretation of the NDR says nothing about the path to socialism, so such an argument carries no wait. Cde VC also seem to be lost or rather confused when it comes to class struggle, in riddles or poetically he touches a point of class organisation as if the South African class is far from being organised. I view this as a direct attack on Cosatu and its affiliates since his statement implies that the working class is unorganised. The SA class struggle has been continuing for more than 100 years unless cdes are saying they've been unaware of such. Therefore, the impression given by cde VC suggests that we strengthen bourgeios democracy at the expense of class struggle and such a view is reactionary. Cde VC please clarify cdes as to what is our primary goal as socialists, whose purpose does bourgeios democracy serve and in whose interest is the strengthening of democracy. To me it doesn't matter how much you speak bad of the ANCYL president or cde Floyd, my concern is your comfortability in a state that belongs to our class enemies. How do you sleep at night after your unscrupulous and unethical attempts to mislead the proletariat. For information, cde VC's socio-economic status renders him not only useless but irrelevant when it comes to class struggle. Gone are those days where people will hide behind the red flag and articulate a reformist position in the name of communists. Cde VC is one way or the other completely exposed, and that will make the task of serving as a double agent more difficult than never before. You advance the struggle in a two face approach, communist during the day and an imperialist agent by night. What a waste of ernergy, for the might of the working class shall never been defeated, tough luck. If I hear comrade Domza clearly with out his riddles he goes "...for today's proletarians, the only worthwhile struggle seems to be for the creation of democratic regimes in every country in the world, which will bring with it equal rights for both sexes and all races, and which will defend an "attitude of good citizenship". so my conclusion is that ideology-vendors of every description, and especially on the left, are more mobilised than ever to convince the workers that this is the good fight, and to push them into it. And for any who have doubts, or hesitate to take part, the message is: "Despite its faults, democracy is the only regime which can be reformed and perfected - and anyway there's no hope of any other". Faced with the growing poverty and barbarism imposed on us by capitalism, there is supposedly no other possibility than to behave as a "good citizen", to accept the system because we are told there is no other choice.
