"If you've got a tendency of undermining blacks even where you work
you are in the wrong place."

“Do you think whites hates blacks?” this was the most difficult  and
suprising  question  posed to me this morning by my white colleguy.
Not knowing and unsure of reasons behind the question I asked  why do
you ask me this question?

Well I was not informed  as the news yesterday broke on how BBC Jouner
was kicked out of Luthuli House.

Then I asked my poor colleguy Do you indeed think white loves Black?
Well one question on top of another.
Without waiting an answer I continue to show  my white colleguy of the
two irreconcilable nations at war with each other for control of
economic power in particular in the  private sector.

“Our corporation employs about 5000 workers which majority are black
artisan and general workers,when  visitor enters  the air conditioned
offices ,  in most cases they think that perhaps they are lost simple
because they are too  withish  ,strategic positions are all in the
hands of white people,located in the most state of art offices.

On the bases of majority does our corporation reflects that in
managerial and specialist  positions.Are we blacks here to work as
artisan and useless project engineers for the rest of our lives.

How many times has you undermine black skills,sideline them ,sabotage
them in senior positions resulting in them being frustrated  and
handing in Voluteery resignations.

Six  Black chattered accountant has recently volunteered  to resign in
six consecutive months,not to mention promising young project
engineers who are being lost every year as the results of being either
sidelined or being frustrated by the elites white employees.

Maybe at this condition is not conducisive to pose such  questions,
check your department first you don’t have a black employees Why?You
keep on hiring the white brothers and if compromising you co-opt the
Indians and coloureds.”

Before I finished my angry colloquy threw his unfinished cigarette and
quickly went to his office,well  at that moment I was thinking that I
have  provoked the most senior manager and influential employee in the
whole corporation which means I may as well hit the road.

Within an hour I met my colloquy at smoke area again and surprisingly
he voluterily accepted that indeed we the white people need to change
having worked in major corporations ranging from mines,Steel
Manufacturings,Petroleum, and Major financial institutions I can
assure you that white are  in control and dominant and I think I need
to look at myself and change completely starting from my section.

That was the end of our second session conversation as we all hit to
our respective offices.Indeed Julius Malema is revolutinising the work
places,telling the truth that many of our Unions  are unable to  tell
as most of these shopstewards has been co-opted in the elite offices
doing  nothing about what they see everyday at work places.
