*The Young Communist League of South Africa (YCL) visit to the Nkosi Heaven
Village*

The Young Communist League of South Africa (YCL) is looking to conduct a
visit to Nkosi heaven Village as part of the International Children’s day
celebration and the Nkosi Johnson’s commemoration to extend our helping hand
to the poor and the historically disenfranchised working class families
living under the scourge of HIV virus.  This humanitarian visit is informed
by our HIV/Aids know your status campaign and to further assist Nkosi
Johnson Village regarding the socio-economic plights they are confronted
with in helping the poor communities who remains vulnerably at the periphery
within the mist of our struggling society.

Our programme will not only be narrowed down to HIV/Aids related matters but
will be fragmented into two phases and comprises of the following:

*First phase (1st June.2010 from 14h: 00)*


   - *Cleaning of the Village*
   - *Paining*
   - *Doing garden*
   - *Fixing doors*
   - *And helping children with home work. *

*Second phase (05th June.2010 from 10h: 00)*


   - *Cooking for fundraising*
   - *The conducting of voluntary HIV/Aids testing*
   - *Offering of donations*
   - *Issuing of toys, soccer balls, netballs and jumping castle*
   - *And selling of food plates for R100 each and R50 drink (fundraising) *

*The venue for both events is at the: *

Nkosi Heaven Village at Alane Manor

34 Vereeniging Service road

Next to South gate mall.

To give necessary trust to our campaign we have invited within our ranks the
government departments, trade unions and HIV/Aids activists movements namely
the:


   - * The Department of Health*
   - * Department of Social Development*
   - * Treatment Action Campaign* (TAC)
   - * Love Life*
   - * Creative Workers Union of South Africa* (CWUSA)
   - * South African Football players Union* (SAFPU)
   - *And PYA components*

We will appreciate if comrades can join us in impacting positively to the
lives of our needy communities and donations to add value to this historic
course. Donations are centred around the:

*Clothes *( jersey, pyjamas, sleepers, shoes and tracksuit) from new born
babies till 20 years old and Mothers.

*Foodstuff *(non-perishable foodstuff and rice)

All of these donations can be delivered to the Head Office of YCL at COSATU
House third floor ,1 leyds street, Cnr Biccard Braamfontien Johannesburg
2000.
