*Julius still to attend anger classes* *Xolani Mbanjwa, Saturday Star, Johannesburg, 10 July 2010*The ANC Youth League said it was waiting for the party to inform its leader Julius Malema about where and when to attend anger management and political education classes, two months after a disciplinary hearing recommended his "re-education".
Malema's colleagues still insist they would attend the classes, while a minority - mostly Malema's rivals - have said they would not.
League spokesman Floyd Shivambu said the ANC's disciplinary committee had not told Malema where to attend the classes.
Malema was found guilty of provoking divisions in the ANC after his statement in Limpopo that President Jacob Zuma was worse than his predecessor Thabo Mbeki for reprimanding the youth league.
Two days after Malema was found guilty in May, the league's national leadership said the sanction should apply to all 34 executive committee members because Malema was representing them when he committed the offences.
They decided that they would attend the classes and pay Malema's fine as an act of solidarity with their leader.
Shivambu yesterday refused to say if they had paid the fine. However, some members of the divided leadership distanced themselves from the decision and said they would not attend.
The ANC declined to comment and said the issue was an internal matter.ANC spokesman Jackson Mthembu said the disciplinary committee, headed by Deputy Science and Technology Minister Derek Hanekom, would have to report to the ANC about the progress of implementation of the sanction.
