THE SACP NORTH WEST PROVINCE TO DECLARE AN UNINTERRUPTED WAR AGAINST CORRUPTION
Saturday, July 31, 2010 The South African Communist Party (SACP) North west province as indicated earlier will be hosting the national 89th commemorative anniversary rally of the SACP in our province, the rally represent to us a launching event of an uninterrupted war against corruption and divisions within and to our Alliance with the Congress of South African Trade Union (COSATU), the African National Congress and SANCO. It has been our view in the SACP that corruption has never been part of our character and intentions and therefore we view corruption irrespective as to who is involved as a counter revolutionary tendency that needs to be fought without flinching a muscle. Despite our united aims and objectives as the ANC led Alliance, to better and improve the lives of all our people, the devil of corruption has even led to our people to engage in legitimate but violent protests against our Democratic government – it is in this context that if we leave this evil unattended we might end up assisting the opposition against ourselves. Therefore as the SACP in the North West province we intend to ensure that our revolutionary energies are used to defend our revolution which is currently under threat of being highjacked by sheep skin covered lions, masquiradfing as revolutionaries even using our policy and strategic positions to cover themselves. The second component of the rally will be to fight against the Alliance divisions which are in actually instances pursued by those who are willing to break the Alliance so that they continue to benefit from corruption orientated tenders – and as the SACP in the North West we refuse to allow these divisions to continue without a challenge. Both inside and outside of our movement we are constantly reminded that the ANC is not a Socialist organization but we are denied the right to know how then did the ANC got into the democratic breakthrough if it was not because of its Alliance with the Communist Party and workers formations. As the SACP in the North West province we further do not just think that the so-called Frank Chikane files are a democratic right to echo political views and ideas – ours is that this is a coherent and well orchestrated strategic plan to demobilise the Alliance and the ANC in particular, and therefore we will not succumb to media reports and attacks on our leaders who defends our movement, at no stage has anyone desputed the argument that this is a strategic plan in so far as trying to place in the heart of our body politic the “Black DA” in the form of COPE as we approach local government elections in 20112. Very fundamentally important is the third not by location, the remembrance of our late General Secretary, Comrade Martin Thembisile Hani – to whom we dedicate our uninterrupted war against corruption in which we believe Comrade Hani would have declared not only uninterrupted war but a political and ideological warfare against corruption. The rally as we said will unfold as follows: Venue: Impala Platinum mine stadium – Rustenburg Date: Sunday, 01 August 2010 Time: 10H00 SACP National leaders and Members of the Central Committee including Provincila leaders will be part of the rally, our Alliance partners will equally not only attend but they will as well address the rally. The media and the public are as well invited to the event - “FORWARD TO A CORRUPTION FREE COUNTRY, FOR AND WITH THE WORKERS AND THE POOR TOWARDS SOCIALISM IN OUR LIFETIME!” Issued by: SACP North West Province Contact: Kaizer Mohau SACP NW Provincial Spokesperson Tel: 018 462 5675 Mobile: 072 7315 818 . -- You are subscribed.
