Trevor, what about schools who dont even offer the wide variety of subjects?
I matriculated in a township school, where some of the subjects offered in White schools are not offered in our schools? I was limited to 6 and that was not out of choice...Its because there was not more to offer, all students did six subjects wether you chose the stream of commerce or science.....This is still applicable even today Music, French, Latin, Art for example are not offered in townships and most of these students take these subjects as extras to gain entry in universities Gugu On Thu, Aug 5, 2010 at 2:32 PM, Trevor Kekana <[email protected]>wrote: > Comrades, > > > > I’m thinking loud here… > > > > We must not problematise the issue of a number of subjects learners choose > to do.
