Indeed what happened yesterday will go down as nothing but an ugly portrait of how the ANCYL is being bulldozed into mediocrity by an illiterate Malema! How the so called NGC is constituted is another interesting observation that not only signals how desperate the rulling elite of the ANCYL is to gurner support for it evil fated intends. Branches were not afforded a fair chances to decide on their delegates but were rather instructed to allow same members who attended provincial congresses to represent them. This instruction was no incident because SGL together with his Alie's carefully considered the fact that their ongoing self destructive and mediocre centered campaigns was only going to be endorsed at the NGC through the sustenance of flawed provincial delegates that had yielded their desired outcomes.
The fact remains that SGL may seem to be winning the battle now, yet I dare say politics of manipulation can only last for a certain while and will accordingly be replaced Truth as soon a people become to unmask the ugly face behind such manipulation. It doesn't matter how long but it will surely come to pass. We remain intact in our doctrine; the doctrine of philosophical materialism and opposed to idealism currently be fast tracked by SGL. Ours is a comprehensive and harmonious doctrine that gives a man an integral outlook of the world and is irreconcilable with all forms of superstition, deceit and defense of the bourgeois system. All those that participated in the vain exercise of booing our Secretary General allowed themselves to be used by the SGL in hope of probably employment or tender reward. This they did consciously even perhaps competing amongst themselves to be distinguished as being the loudest and thus gain recognition from SGL and his army. We dare never to take the yesterday's mediocrity as insignificant. We must multiply our efforts to ensure that their plot is uprooted in our respective ANC branches. I am going to continue the work I have started in my Madlambandlopfu branch. SGL will never go unchallenged and thus deliniate himself as a king maker of our politics; not at least whilst we are still members of the ANC! > The Times > > > *ANCYL demands Mantashe's head* > > /Young communist chief says it is eye for an eye as he is booed off stage/ > > > *Dominic Mahlangu, Nkululeko Ncana and Moipone Malefane, The Times, > Johannesburg, 26 August 2010* > > New battle lines for control of the ruling party were drawn yesterday as > thousands of delegates at a chaotic ANC Youth League conference called > for the ousting of ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe. > > Angry delegates booed Young Communist League national secretary Buti > Manamela off the stage in what can be seen as retaliation for youth > league president Julius Malema's embarrassment at the hands of > communists last December. > > The ANC Youth League's national general council in Midrand was delayed > for several hours by slow registration. > > Most delegates clearly had mandates to back Malema's bid to have > Mantashe replaced at Luthuli House HQ by Deputy Police Minister Fikile > Mbalula. > > Delegates burst into a song calling on Mantashe to make way and let > Mbalula to take over. > > "Mbalula, Mbalula in 2012," they sang, referring to the ANC's elective > national conference to be held in two years.
