Re: Invitation to a Media Conference
The South African Students Congress (SASCO) in the Eastern Cape is hereby
inviting the media to a media conference that will take place under these
conditions.
* Date: 1st September 2010(Tomorrow)
* Time: 12: 00 noon
* Place: University of Fort Hare (East London)
* Venue: SRC Boardroom
We hold this press conference just after we met as a Provincial Working
Committee (PWC) and among the issues we will address will be:
· The Crisis in the Education Department in the Province and our view
about the MEC of Education.
· Our perspective on reshuffling in the Provincial Government
· Our view on the recently elected ANC Youth League Provincial
Leadership and the anti-communist utterances made at the YL conference in
Grahamstown
· The successful removal of the corrupt SRC President of Fort Hare
· The dictatorship of the Vice-Chancellor of NMMU, Prof Derick Swarts
· The recently aborted SRC elections of Rhodes
