Revolutionary greetings comrades

I have read and re-read the article by comrade Masondo. And I want to say
that in principle and in shape I absolutely agree with it.

You see comrades our politics in South Africa need a lot of people who can
help society to see beyond unguided loyalty and its related incentives. One
prominent scholar once said “*if ours is to liberate we ought to help our
people to always distinguish the discrepancies between rhetoric and actual
practices*”. What comrade Masondo is raising in not new or foreign, for
example comrade Vavi rightfully said that the state is generally led by
corrupt hyenas and Cosatu never issued statements condemning or distancing
his statement, becoz in essence it represent working class view and anger
towards a lack of change for the better.

Personally I do believe that the apologetic statement by YCL weakness our
militancy towards uprooting corrupt tendencies (*and the use of our
organization for money making*), becoz if we are serious about uprooting
corruption in South Africa, particularly in the body politics we ought to
link a corrupt act with a natural body (person). The other issue to always
remember is that even within the left and even within SACP and YCL we are
equally capable of being corrupt, selling-out on working poor and can be
equally vulnerable to corrupt tendencies. So we always ought to crash the
evil head of corruption wherever we see it.

And if we are serious on our historic mission to change society for a better
pattern and process as it relates to means of production we ought to ask
ourselves whether we are in the right path. To me the issue is not about a
preventing public attack or pat on ANC/republic president (or anyone) and
maintaining pseudo-unity based on unprincipled grounds. If claims are
founded they ought to be an issue of public scrutiny.

Ours is to analyze and interpret events as we see them, not on how the
alliance view or deals with it. In future I just hope the state of the
alliance won’t be used to defend wrong tendencies.

Revolutionary regards
