*Photograph by: * The union said in a statement it condemned the action taken by the Fuel Retailers Association (FRA) and the Retail Motor Industry (RMI) organisation to fire employees after a settlement was reached between them and the union. "It is... disgusting and unwarranted for the FRA and RMI delinquents to dismiss our members for taking part in a genuine struggle for a living wage and improved conditions of employment," it said. "These actions... are a provocative, anti-worker and a declaration of war. We are firmly of the view that our members, who took part during the strike action, had a constitutional right to do so." Numsa said it called on the FRA and the RMI to stop "being childish and behaving like delinquents" and allow workers to return to work. "We [Numsa] are eager and prepared to pull our members back to the streets to fight against these barbaric and immoral dismissals."
