Without counter-act what Moses have said, SAMWU remains not only strategic but a Revolutionary Union that you can ever find in COSATU. To mention its revolutionary experience it is only SAMWU that managed to get 13% percent on wages. 3. Most of SAMWU membership has made it practical to realize the objective of 2015 plan, and many of us we are leading the branches of ANC and we are directly affected by politics of ruling party through Municipal Councils. So it would be wrong to conclude that without NUMSA there is no COSATU unless this is another form of lobbying for the position of General Secretary of COSATU which Vavi would vacate as we again SAMWU would ensure that we radically realize 2015 plan.
