School head bars teachers
13 OCT 2010 | FRANK MAPONYA |
PROBLEMS continue to plague Marobathota High School in Boyne, Limpopo.

The 24 teachers who had just returned to the school after a six months'
absence were allegedly barred from entering the classrooms by acting
principal Jonas Rampedi until the department has finalised their
redeployment to other schools.

The teachers, members of the SA Democratic Teachers Union, were absent
because of differences with the school governing body over the appointment
of an acting principal. They wanted a member of Sadtu to be appointed.
