THE SACP NORTH WEST PROVINCE WELCOMES THE RESHUFFLING OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AS DONE BY THE PREMIER OF THE PROVINCE Thursday, November 25, 2010
The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the North West province welcomes the reshuffling as made by the Premier of the North west province Comrade Thandi Modise, the SACP further welcomes all deployed MEC’s collectively. As the SACP we consider the reshuffling as a positive response to the issues raised by the Alliance and by the SACP in particular. It is our view that the reshuffling if looked at from a revolutionary angle it is a reflection of or dress rehearsal of the need for the unity and cohesion of the Alliance. Despite the Alliance’s thorny relations especially as of now, the premier demonstrated that she is determined to unify the Alliance in the province, this is reflected by the fact that even though the Provincial Task Team (PTT) attempted to isolate Communist leaders in the province the premier showed her confidence in all cadres of our movement in the North West without an iota of factionalism. As the SACP in the province we once again commit ourselves in working together with the office of the premier to ensure that her humble and yet revolutionary decisions are not reversed for factional intentions. The SACP hope and wishes that all deployed cadres as MEC’s and members of the Executive are not going to conduct as though they are working as individuals for themselves but are going to work as a collective in all issues they will be dealing with.
