This would make sense if it were a letter addressed to the leadership of
NUMSA rather than this public platform. If you have read the responses -
it strongly recommended that you deal with internal matters of your
organization in a proper platform that is within.

At the moment, we can only recommend that you speak to your leadership
whose president is amongst us in this platform.

Subject: Re: [YCLSA Discussion] Response to Sithembewena on his
so-called "The Menshevisation Of The Party"

NUMSA is committing a serious mistakes of marginalising
its youth of all the trade union education it needs: I think I have to
take but a few on how is done:

mistake number one: The matter that let to the
suspension of the national youth desk secretary comrade Stanley Komape
was never contained in the organisational report to the 2010 December
Central Committee. Neither the interim youth desk coordinator comrade
Castro nor anyone brought it into the Central Committee of 2010
December nor to the OCCB HOD.

Mistake Number two: NUMSA moves from A correct premise
of establishing its youth desk and inevitably arrives at a false
conclusion of not servicing its youth by refusing to raise the voice of
its youth. the interim coordinator of the youth desk and now the
spokesperson has not established if any of the regional youth desk
structures are functional, I think the NUMSA CC Should have considered
that the organization which doesnt take care of its youth is the dead
organization, if they will speak from the facts, not speculations that
the youth desk will contest elections or turn in to a monster youth
league not a sub-structure. The idea that the Central Committee does not
have authority to deal with any matters affecting the normal functioning
of the youth desk, the CC is wrong in the extreme.

To the contrary, the Central Committee is the highest
authority of NUMSA in between congresses and has the authority to deal
with any matters relating and affecting the NUMSA including the youth
desk. I respect the decisions and processes of the Central Committee and
will not commend further on the suspension of the youth desk national
secretary. I'm certain these matters will be concluded by the NOBs. I
don't want to debate the comrades who have been steering the ship of
devisions with in the NUMSA Youth desk. I worked with some of them, in
even before I was politically chased away from NUMSA as the coordinator.
I'm certain that he if not they remain innocent, unless proven guilty
after the NOBS intervention in the youth desk work as mandated by the
Central Committee.

Mistake number three: The NUMSA CC trys to dipict the
youth desk as it will promote fictionalism within the constitutional
structures of the union. After all, NUMSA YOUTH DESK belong to the
organized young metal workers within NUMSA, not to promote fuctional
issues of the YCLSA and should be active in the factory level not in
the board rooms as is happening now

Mistake number four: the CC is in a different matter
altogether when coming to the interests of it youth. and in this the are
those who accuses the national youth desk secreatry of being
counter-revolutionary by having a different view on who should
coordinate the youth stracture and one of them is based in Gauteng
Province and others else where. He says he's a CC interim youth desk
coordinator appointtee. Despite my case of the youth desk and its total
functinality in all the levels in the regions and locals including
factories, since the the coordinator left the desk it ahs never being
functional all it masters is to divide the desk in electoral approach,
and eventually the 2008 National Elective Conference, resolved that
thsi structure wiil need to have a coordinator for its normal
functioning, but today the resolutions is not implemented precisely
because it is not a lobbying stracture for those who want to emerge
victorious every 4 years.

I think it will be wise if comrades especially those
who are leading the NUMSA YOUTH DESK In your respective Regions, Locals
and Factories to fight that this structure never dies nor used as a
lobbying vehicle bu the selected few who I believe they will never
emerge again in 2012, and some will have to be restructured as they are
politically employed appointees,

" I think, that the some could not retained power for
two and a half months, let alone two and a half years, without the most
rigorous and truly iron discipline in the Youth Desk, or without the
fullest and unreserved support from the entire mass of the working
class, especially the young organized metalworkers ,that is, from all
thinking, honest, devoted and influential elements in it, capable of
leading the backward strata or carrying the latter along with them.".

"In conclusion which follows from this is
mis-inderstanding with in the NUMSA Youth Desk should be that, far from
causing harm to the revolutionary NUMSA YOUTH DESK , the young
metalworkers should participate in all-democratic processes of the
constitutional structures and with in the PYA, not even for a
fuctionalist way, few weeks ago before - the victory of a one of ours in
the YCLSA Conference and even after such a victory, actually helped the
youth desk to prove to the backwardness of some of those who were at the
fore-front of making sure that Buti never retain his strategical
positions,
