*Local Government Elections 2011(counting down)-YOUNG REDS TO THE FRONT!* The YCLSA will be at the forefront and lead young people in Local government Elections for an overwhelming ANC led Alliance Victory. Young people have been at the forefront of service delivery protests. This trend should be reversed so they become champions of service delivery.
We urge responsible seasoned young people to stand for local government elections; this however should not be an opportunity for careerists and opportunists to bring the ANC’s name into disrepute. The participation of young people in local government should not be a favor but a right earned and never an entitlement. Communities should be able to vest their faith in young leaders. Every week from now on the YCLSA will send out tips and information on Local Government Elections so that we ensure that we campaign vigorously for an overwhelming ANC led Alliance Victory!! Take ownership and make the Local Government Elections your moment to change society!!
