Sushi gigs are not considerate with the woes of the masses
2011 will be another year in which many South Africans may still suffer from
the
sushi syndrome ravaging our country. It’s alarming how monies have continued to
be splashed even when the majority people are still poor and backward
economically.
Our masses still are recovering from the capitalist jumbo-sales over the
festive
season where spending of even the last rands and cents was the order of the
day,
with many matriculants still unsure where their registration monies at
institutions of higher learning will come, yet transplanting of high life
premised on showboating of resources and treating ladies as nude entertainers
goes unabated.
The royal dynasty and feudalist living such high life were overthrown in many
part of the world such as the experience in France, Russia etc.An unwillingness
to share weal and woe with the masses and a quest only for personal fame and
gain in unpalatable to many. It is an insult to the intelligence of many
workers
who toil the whole year and will never spend such monies in month.
The ideals of the kind of society we all wish to have must be borne on
coexistence as humans understanding that inequalities are still rife and we
must
fight wastage of resources as it is currently with these sushi gigs.
Such bad things must be turned as they continue to disturb the psyche of our
masses. Poverty, hunger and unemployment have no room for such wastage.
We still have to remould ourselves to use resources in an acceptable way.
