@Cde Zakhele,

Your questions suggests that your understanding of collective leadership is
mechanical. The process does not start at leadership but on membership.
Collective leadership is not someones creation. It is formed from a common
cause using principles that will forever guide it. It has no personality as
you suggest in question 4.

The role of leadership is to provide direction and protect principles of
that organisation. The collective part means the unity and cohesion of the
leadership and the pursuit of the common idea for which the organisation was
formed.

Thinkers and organisers has the responsibility to shape the theoretical
sphere of the organisation that will include the philosophy, ideology and
principles that will guide the operations of the organisation. Though, this
cannot be the only issues but primarily strategies and tactics develop from
a set of ideasand philosophies.

I do not know where your membership subscription is but the organisations in
which I subscribe tells of collective wisdom, tolerance of dissenting views,
collective agreements (democratic centralism), respect for decisions taken
at upper structures, steering membership in one direction (bettering the
lives of people) and electing a leadership using the bottom-up approach at
congress.

All memntioned above, tells me that collective leadership is not something
to be implemented but a result of a democratic process that developes from
membership into branches up to national congress. Once leadertship is
pronounced, all members are expected to respect and support such leadership.
That cohesion of the relationship between membership and leadership create
and atmosphere to all leaders to serve membership in good faith (as a
collective).

Before I give more details, let me pause there...
