*Communist University * /This evening/The CU meets this evening to complete its series of discussions on Development. Our conclusion is that development means human development, and political organisation is both the means and also the end of "development".
Political organisation is at the same time the content of the state and also the means of struggling towards the reduction of the state and the withering away of the state.
Hence the "developmental state" is not simply a bourgeois state, nor is it a classless state, but it is a dialectical state.
These are our conclusions. Or are they?In fact, we never resolve. We are a dialogical University. Decisions are made in the constitutional structures of the Party and the Mass Movement. We come together to study, through dialogue.
Tonight's discussion could centre on the post called "*The Party Goes Local <http://domza.blogspot.com/2011/03/party-goes-local.html>*". But since this is the final discussion of the series, we could range a little wider. Plenty of original material is available and will be available this evening in hard copy.
*_Next week_*We are *scheduled <http://domza.blogspot.com/p/dates.html>* to meet on Wednesday 20 April 2011 to discuss "*Roots of the NDR <http://domza.blogspot.com/2011/04/roots-of-ndr.html>*" - the first part of the ten-week course on the National Democratic Revolution.
Then we miss one week and come back together, after the various holidays, on 4 May 2011.
