Yes that is what is happening everywhere Thabo, some prisoners tried to expose
it *nd were tortured brutally after submitting the petition -maybe a campaign
needs to be initiated against the abuse of the Prison system by management

We can do whatever we can do but we will and will never defeat capitalism I
came across it yesterday and being practised our own government is
disgusting went to polokwane correctional service to visit someone, I had
bought him some items unfortunately I was told I cannot enter with those
items why beats me, I had to leave with them and I didn’t have any cash to
buy at their tuck shop so I went home.the following day I visited again and
went to the tuck shop to buy few items and to tell the truth I was shocked
all the items at the tuck shop where sold at double market price, the
problem was that they didn’t have some of essential items I had brought the
previous day so I could buy, don’t understand why will they punish people
they say they are rehabilitating in the 1st place to disallow things and not
have them in their store is shocking I asked around who actually owned the
tuck shop as I thought it was a tender and was told it is own by the same
department. How can a department sell things at double market price? is it
for the same reason that they don’t see this price when suppliers are
supplying goods and service under BEE?I.e a 250 ml coca cola at R14 each as
I was sold a mere 750 ml dawn lotion at R22.
