*YCLSA Gauteng local government elections campaign, Saturday 14 May 2011 *

The Young Communist League of South Africa (YCLSA) [Ufasimba] in the
province of Gauteng has intensified its campaign for an overwhelming African
National Congress (ANC) victory in the forthcoming local government
scheduled for the 18th of May 2011
As part of intensifying our campaign the YCLSA in Gauteng will embark on the
following activities
1. YCLSA Gauteng Provincial Secretary Comrade (CDE) Alex Mashilo will
lead a delegation of the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC), Oupa Phasha
(Ekurhuleni) District Executive Committee (DEC) and branches from the
district in *Tembisa Ward 3 in a Door to Door Campaign starting at 10:00*.
The PEC delegation in Tembisa will be made up by Bongani Makhubu, Lerato
Mabaso, Nkosinathi Ndwandwe, Phumlani Dlamini, Regina Kgeroga, Serame
Makhalanyane and Vincent Masoga.
2. The Provincial Secretary will at 14:00 join Tshwane DEC, branches and
another YCLSA PEC delegation in *Mamelodi East Ward 10 in a Door to Door
campaign which will start at 10:00.* The PEC delegation in Mamelodi East
will be led by the Gauteng Provincial Treasurer CDE Maria Mochaka and made
up by CDEs Donald Mothoa, Mokgadi Lesoka, Mpumelelo Mokoena (National
Committee Member), Sello Ramokgopa and Wonder Nkosi.
3. Provincial Chairperson CDE Vuyo Mhlakaza will lead another delegation
of the Gauteng PEC, Yusuf Dadoo (West Rand) DEC and branches in *Mogale City
Ward 17 from 10:00 in a Door to Door Campaign.* The PEC delegation in Mogale
City will be made up by CDEs Paseka Mafereka, Keobakile Mosiane and Sello
Maetso (National Committee Member).
The purpose of the campaign is to reach each and every voter who is
available in the above-mentioned areas in order to mobilise and consolidate
a resounding YES for an overwhelming ANC victory, i.e. a people’s victory.
