Manamela Calls for action The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] true to its resolution: to strengthen the hold of a Democratic movement in state power, had deployed it National Secretary throughout the country, to campaign for the victory of the African National Congress. Our message “BE LIKE CHRIS HANI VOTE ANC, TO BUILD BETTER COMMUNITY” was taken to Towns, Cities, villages and Townships. Our people did not only welcome us but also vowed never to betray the ANC. As we conclude our campaign we are confident that the ANC victory is assured and trust that only the ANC will deliver on its election commitments. In our election massage we observed that thousands of young people will for the first time exercising their democratic right to elect their local leaders, and some of them even participate as ANC candidates. And called upon all young people, be they in school, universities, factory floors or unemployed, to go out in their numbers and once more ensure that the ANC-led Alliance governs. We have mobilised cadres of uFasimba to form local elections teams or participate in the ANC election machinery to go out and get the vote for the ANC. Today the Young Communist League of South Africa National Secretary comrade Buti Manamela once again calls upon all YCLSA members and volunteers to intensify the election campaign, “lets not allow the Democratic Alliance to buy Black vote, for White power, lets disappoint the Madam by highlighting ANC service delivery record” this is a call for action from the highest office in our organisation, let all go out and get vote ANC.
