We learnt yesterday that some African states do not have enough budgets to run n deliver services thus rely on financial aid from western countries. This compromise the independence of these countries and submit to the western European and North American countries. A lot needs to be done to rescue Africa from post colonial conflict, financial crises, political instability and insecurity. Our leaders should always be reminded of where Africa came from and how we should have conquered this world if colonialism never reigned in Africa. Are we unable to solve our challenges in particular political challenges. Each & every time when we have political challenges in our countries we run to western countries for solutions. Is AU undermined by western countries in the way in which we run our African affairs. Is western countries saying that Black man is incapable of solving his own challenges only white man knows the right and wrong, protecting the rights of citizens, champion of democracy etc. Is not this colonialisation of African countries again by western countries in the name of human rights and democracy and where is the AU in all of this. Why do we keep quite when people are being killed by NATO in Libya. Are we afraid to raise our issues with the west, and if that's true is Africa being managed by the west. Another example is in Zimbabwe where Tsvangarai felt that its better for him to sue Robert Mugabe in Britain and America for sanction to force Mugabe to step down, why he didn't run to AU for help. The AU has come with a solution to resolve issues of Libya but the Western think otherwise that fine you are right with what you are suggesting but we are not going to follow your resolutions we have our own way to resolve issues like this shoot to kill Gadaffi must go. Let's wake up, and solve our own challenges in an African way, peacefully, because what western want to do is to give us guns to kill our brothers and sisters, they don't want to see a peaceful Africa.
