South African Colleges Student Association(SACSA)? Who are you guys, what colleges are you talkingg about and who constitute your constituency. Where have you been all these years? I am asking these questions because I have never heard about this association commenting on issues related to conditions of South African education. As we speak there is a crisis in Walter Sisulu University where the staff and workers have not been paid salaries because the institution does not have money. Again in Eastern Cape there is a problem in the Department of education to an extent that the Minister of Basic Education has interverned by sending an administrator. Issues are countless dating back the the issue of Free State where students dehumanised black employees and many issues. Where were these people and why now on an issue that is a bit far and too big for them to chew. Not that I am saying they do not have a right to express their veiws, I am just worried that people are getting on a bandwagon here and claiming easy victories at the expense of others. If it is possible may this SACSA please tell me or even others in this forum that might be interested to know who they are and what do they stand for. Regards Mthubanzi Mniki

It become an attack to young people that when Julius Malema steals from the poor, the poor do not mind. His statement suggests that young black poor people are ignorant and can be taken for a ride. SACSA further recognises that his strategic positioning to advance his selfish enrichment find sense in the South African Youth. The need for economical freedom in our lifetime should not be the reason why the African National Congress is taking him to task. This sentiment might move the eye from the ball of achieving economical freedom in our lifetime. The organisation calls for decisive action against Malema and is NEC as the position and platform that has been hauling elders and senior government official and minister backed by some minister in their position as NEC members of the ANC was given by them. The organisation would stand against and mobilise all Further Education and Training College Students any decision to curve away the programme of the Youth League of achieving Economical Freedom in our lifetime. We call for the separation of issue in order to corrective deal with these matters. Released by SACSA Head Office Contact: Itumeleng R.
