THE ANCYL IS A REVOLUTIONARY ORGANISATION; CAN NOT MARCH TO THE REVOLUTIONARY HOUSE BY MAVIYO NDINISA Today the ANC disciplinary committee will decide whether to continue with the charges against a member of the ANC, ANC NEC and NWC comrade Julius Malema. It is a week that all of us we hope to forget in the history of the glorious movement; but unfortunately it will be part of our history towards the centenary of the ANC. The ANCYL leader is the one who publicly declared Luthuli house a Revolutionary house therefore a Revolutionary organisation like the ANCYL won’t and must not organise marches, protest or demonstration against constitutional processes of the Revolutionary ANC. I believe and hope that the break gave time to the leadership of the ANCYL to reflect on the events and its meaning to the any person who calls him or herself a Revolutionary. I appreciate the fact that the ANCYL has distanced itself from the events, and again some leader denied bussing people to Luthuli house. It was wrong to burn the ANC T shirt with the face of the president and other leaders of the leaders of the ANC lead alliance, it was wrong during president T Mbeki and it is still wrong and it will be wrong in the future; especially burning the ANC flag. A person burning, protesting or demonstrating against a Revolutionary movement are counter Revolutionaries and must be treated as such. It can be a coincidence that the five members of the ANC and leaders of the ANCYL are charged with various charges including barging into the ANC official meeting and the supporters of the president of the ANCYL wanted to barge into Luthuli and disrupt the constitutional processes of the ANC. If the supporters were not bussed by the ANCYL to an event organised by the ANCYL therefore who transported them. Was the Ratanang trust fund involved? What a coincidence that the SGL and the Ratanang trust fund were involved to fund the NGC of the ANCYL which booed leaders of the PYA and delegates who were uncontrollable; the general secretary and the deputy president of the ANCYL failed to control delegates except for the president of the ANCYL Julius Malema had a total control of the delegates; was because of his ability to lead or because of his money? We all agree that the road to Polokwane was ugly and dirty, foreign to the culture and the tradition of the movement and has defined the ANC post Polokwane; we must appreciate if the ANC leadership has realised that and opted to act and it is not too late for all of us to bring the organisation back to its tradition not only by disciplining comrade Malema to silence but with an intention of teaching him and building him as a future good leader. We hope the ANC will start to act against all corrupt members and leaders in all provinces who use money to stay at the helm organisation, state patronage, to destroy genuine comrades and replacing them with their own self made and created comrades including profiling their faked political history within the movement. They hide behind the ANC to continue looting the state and intentionally destroying the capacity of the ANC as an organisation to direct service delivery to our people. We hope that the ANC YL is brewing its own beer which one day they will have to drink maybe worse than what we have seen. The people and members of the ANC in Mpumalanga have an experienced on observing a decaying ANC leading to a decaying and incapable government to deliver to its people; members and branches are told who to elect; ANC leadership must stop it before it spread to other province and becomes norms and tradition of the ANC and its government. Let us give the ANC disciplinary committee a space to observe the constitutional work of the ANC and allow the comrade who are charged to exhaust all their constitutional rights as prescribed in the constitution of the ANC. FORWAD TO A (100 YEARS) ANC CENTENARY WITHOUT CORRUPT MEMBERS AND LEADERS; WITHOUT MONSTERS WHO ARE ABOVE THE ANC; WITHOUT POWERFUL DESTROYERS OF THE ANC, WITHOUT RENTED MEMBERS OF THE ANC AND RENTED LEADERS. LET US ALL WORK HARD TO BUILD A TRUE ANC WHICH WILL CELEBRATE 100 YEARS WITH ALL THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH AFRICA.
