I don't know what value the report has, by itself. Clearly Cde Gwede was giving an opening to a discussion at the ANC NEC. So it would have been overtaken by now, by the discussion that followed and by any resolution that resulted from the discussion. Since it is having to do with organisational matters, there is no way that the measures taken will not become known to us as ANC members in due course. The ANC is not imploding and it is not on the eve of its destruction. Actually the ANC is mainly under healthy stress from its own leadership, which is insisting that it becomes properly organised, as well as larger. So I would say: Don't get rattled by Moshoeshoe Monare, but realise that all is unfolding according to plan for the ANC centenary, which will not only be a glorification, but will also have political content.
