I feel both sad and angry at the way we have surrendered our interests to the
Capitalist society. South Africas role in Africa has been reduced to that one
of subservient status and all Africans are effectively subject the control of
Capital. We are treated as inferior, not being able to make up correct,
constructive decisions. We are subjected to a collective repression by the
Capitalist Society.
If I may be allowed to borrow from Pervez Musharraf's memoirs he says in his
prayer
" Oh Allah! The only thing I can promise my army and my nation is sincerity;
honesty; intergrity; and unflinching loyalty.
You give me the vision to see and perceive the truth from the false.
The wisdom to the problem and find a solution.
The courage to speak and project and the clarity to express the right.
The chance to serve the nation as I deserve."
There is a general discontentment among the Africans, our prestige has been
plunged down the gutters by a leadership that is not willing to come into open
conflict with Capital and this has caused International disgust. I really feel
both sad and angry that our leadership has been nothing but subterfuge! Let
nobody fool us, we all know that Africa is the centre of Capitals interest. The
Wests latest conquest of Libya must be viewed as a serious menace to the
security of Africa, we really should not stand idle while our land is up for
grabs. The flagrant breach of International Law by these imperialists states is
appalling. We cannot continue any longer to stand idle as the situation is very
repulsive. The current Nationalist government is not doing enough to blockade
this international capitalist tirade that is sweeping across Africa.
South Africa needs to be Red, this is the time The Communist Pope should be
waging an ideological war here in South Africa and spreading it across the
continent. The time is now that we have to make noise as the working class, the
noise needs to grow louder to warn the hawkish, reckless imperialist states
that we have seen that they have proven themselves to be nothing but
blood-thirsty fanatics. We need a stern leadership that is not afraid to tell
the truth, a leadership that is shy of favours. We need a leadership that will
support mass demonstrations activities against the imperialist interests, a
leadership that will convene seminars to allow the masses to engage on topics
that are particulary important to the poor, the unemployed, the landless. We
need a transporting and transforming leadership. We don't need a leadership
that will allow our investment strategic partners to exploit us, we thus need
to have an equal footing. Our continent has been subject to major humiliation
and looting. Where is the Communist Pope? Our Leaders needs to be subjected to
a great deal of criticism.
South Africa needs to reaffirm its position as a continental power, South
Africa needs to reaffirm its position as a global player in world politics but
the current leadership is undermining this. The current political trend of
favours and partisanship within our movement must be brought to an abrupt stop
as it is weakining our political resolve and thrust. The scope of our politics
has to widen beyond our borders, our foreign policy needs to be revived. Where
is The Communist Pope to be telling us this truth? We need to prove to the
outside world that the giant which is Africa has awakened. As South Africa, we
need to start exchanging scholars with countries like Iran, China, Cuba and
Venezuela. South Africa needs to develop into one of Africas power bloc,
Western power in tightening its clutch on our continent.
Our Country needs to catch up with modern technology as far as military
technology is concerned. The present orders tempo needs to be accelerated. We
need to hype our military and ideological onslaught towards the imperialist
movement, but who is positioned to do this other than the Communist Pope. Where
is the Communist Pope? In contrast to his/her action, The Communist Pope is
dining and entertaining. I sometimes day dream and shout aloud " Oh Communist
Pope! Who will one day rule South Africa, Where are you? We the poor Reds await
your instructions to stand up and make a difference, Oh Communist pope, will
you please deliver us and lead us to our wishes!"
The Triangular Conflict
The Triangular Conflict between Cosatu, ANC and the SACP is serious, although
at times short-sighted but needs some undoing. To overcome this we need to sum
up the implications brought about by this conflict. There are a couple of main
causes for dissatisfaction through the tripatite, which are not entirely
confined to material matters alone. Generally speaking the attitude of the ANC
cadre towards other cadres of the alliance is that of superiorship. This point
is well illustrated in the manner the Nationalist is shoving matters of social
and economic policy towards others members of the tripatite alliance in a
manner that is not engaging but commanding. Despite the feeling of identity
which has been evolving among the members of the NDR, the economic policies of
the Nationalist has really moved away from those of a socialist nature. Despite
having been committed to the social and economic transformation of our country,
The ANC has not thoroughly rolled out programmes to enable the entire base of
its supporters to realise the economic fruits of the liberation. Our country is
supposed to follow an economic path that aims to achieve economic growth
through a process of inreasing equality in the distribution of economic
resources., but the current distortions perpetuated by the concessions made in
the CODESA era are short changing us. The ANCs prestige has reached a peak and
its becoming arrogant when its actually confronted with the new task of
shifting focus of its work liberation struggle into the one of socialist
construction, a task of which the most caution is required. It is gradually
divorcing itself from the socialist practice and from the masses.
The ANCs approach to the Land Question is less than coming. Under the ANC led
government Land has increasingly come under the ownership of investors viewing
it as a portfolio asset with little connection to its human settlement
potential. The painfull condition in which the landless people living in
informal settlements, backyard rooms, town-houses, those sleeping in their
parents dining room is really not tenable. The chronic neglect of this section
of the population will lead to a Second Liberation. One of the most symbolic
and emotional moments is when people are evicted from their settlements, when
there are service delievery issues. That really causes psychological and
societal damage.
Where is the Communits Pope when all of this is happening?
Communist Regards
