Yes it sound like that. Bussing in supporters to disrupt events sounds like
people living in cloud "cuculand". Don't buy this story but then again we are
talking about Juju here.

Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] This sounds like a fabrication

Suspended African National Congress (ANC) Youth League leader Julius
Malema is plotting a comeback strategy that is said to include appealing
against his suspension and trying to humiliate President Jacob Zuma on
the world stage by disrupting the conference on climate change (COP-17)
in Durban later this month, insiders say.

After he was suspended by the ANC disciplinary committee last Thursday
for bringing the party into disrepute, Mr Malema voiced defiance and
warned his opponents that he intended a fight to the finish.

This suggests the battle for control of the ruling party could get
uglier before the elective conference next year.

His suspension was seen as victory for Mr Zuma, but Mr Zuma could find
his leadership of the ANC contested at Mangaung by a candidate backed by
Mr Malema.

Sources in the league said at the weekend that Mr Malema had set up a
committee that would plan and implement a comeback strategy.

Two members of the league's national executive committee (NEC) confirmed
that the plan included busing supporters in an effort to disrupt the
COP-17 meeting. The same crowd would be transported to Mangaung to
heckle Mr Zuma at the ANC's centenary celebrations in January. Mr Malema
is also said to have told his allies he plans to "spill the beans" on Mr
Zuma.

The league's NEC is said to have endorsed Mr Malema's appeal and those
of the other five NEC members when it met on Saturday.

League spokeswoman Magdalene Moonsamy declined to comment, saying a
press conference would be held this week.

An NEC member said the meeting agreed that funding for the appeal and
other efforts in support of Mr Malema, and the campaign to oust Mr Zuma,
be sought overseas as local donors were reluctant. A strategy committee
was set up because Mr Malema no longer trusted some members of his NEC.

His loyalists believe treasurer Pule Mabe is eyeing Mr Malema's post.
Weekend newspapers reported that Mr Malema's deputy, Ronald Lamola,
clashed with Mr Mabe last Thursday after the suspension. But an NEC
member said Mr Mabe was grilled on Saturday about the claims of seeking
Mr Malema's job and the NEC was "satisfied by his explanation".
