Its sad days in revolution struggle of our movement. Shame to you Magaqa and
your fans. We really need to progressively introduce political school in our
movement.

The manner in which these combrades behave leaves a lot to be desired. They
(Magaqa and fans) look like they have no hope should they be expelled from
the ANC.

To me their behaviour confirms my view that one should never treat politics
as a career (bread and butter ie a way of personal survival) other than one
to have a solid career and politics be involved in politics as a career for
the benefit of the community and not for self survival.

The way they are going on now looks like to me they are only concerned about
their "careers"/ salaries by virtue of offices they hold.

I don't know what careers Magaqa and others have, but this thinking does not
get out of my mind that they are determined to fight and through all what
they have not for political survival but for career survival.

Maybe combrades we need to ask ourselves, should anyone of them had a
consistent career and politics as a further career (benefit of the
community), we would be hearing these anti ANC behaviours? because if I was
in their positions I would go back to the grass root and be involved with
community developement intiatives and remain the member of the ANC instead.

Should we in our life time treat politics as a career for survival?

Haaibo Magaqa......
I pause.

The Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) is just seeking
attention by commenting on ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema, youth
league secretary general Sindiso Magaqa said on Tuesday.

"They just want to show their girlfriend that today they will be on TV,"
Magaqa told reporters in Johannesburg. "We find it very strange that the
MKMVA released the statement. We believe this is not the statement of the
collective but of an individual," he said.

Magaqa was addressing the media immediately after MKMVA held a press briefing
at the ANC headquarters, Luthuli House.

Earlier, MKMVA chairman Kebby Maphatsoe called on the ANC's national
executive committee to expel Malema summarily. "Julius Malema thinks he is
bigger than the ANC," said Maphatsoe.

"He has fed on the media frenzy against the liberation movement, casting
doubt and aspersions on the ability of the ANC to formulate policies and
govern South Africa in favour of all its citizens."

Magaqa said the MKMVA's statement had no content. "We are dealing with people
who do not have an understanding of ANC processes." Magaqa referred to some
MKMVA's not being veterans but being "sell-outs".

"They have a bad history... I won't go any further with that," he said when
asked what he meant by sell-outs. "Not everyone was a soldier of MK, some
were cooks."

Magaqa said the disciplinary process was still ongoing and that Malema was
still the ANC Youth League's leader. "We are more determined than ever that
we have an elected president until 2014," he said. "Nothing has changed."
