Cdes

Mine was a simple yet basic question it read “I thought we had long passed
the period of codesa dialogue and special concessions…or did we”?

In this basis, I doubt it that the following statements really answer the
question. “*Those who know history of this country and have not misread
it, would know that ANC is doing the right thing*” or “*There’s absolutely
nothing wrong with the group wanting to engage with the current
government/ANC leadership in fact the ANC has openly invited them”*. These
statements miss the target completely and jump the gun.

I am neither interested at debating how sound is my history of this
country nor did it place a judgment about righteousness of the action taken
by the ANC to have dialogue with the Afrikaners. I know we might be very
knowledgeable about the history of the land but this is no beauty contest
but a basic question. And I would resist the temptation of using ANC and
government interchangeably, they are fundamentally two different entities.

Regards

Aphiwe
