Intellectualism, the ultimate rescuer of prosperous leaders Comrade Regional Chairperson of the ANC (Ukhahlamba Region); Honourable Mayor of Umtshezi Municipality; Fellow Comrade and Friend, Bongani Dlamini "Here are the reins of the movement- protect and guard its precious legacy; defend its unity and integrity as committed disciples of change; pursue its popular objectives like true Revolutionaries who seek only to serve the nation." Former President of the Afican National Congress, Comrade Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela said these words in his closing address at the 50th National Conference of the ANC which was held at Mafikeng, in 1997. Under the said statement, articulated by the then outgoing President of the Movement, I write this piece in congratulating the newly elected Regional Chairperson of the ANC, Ukhahlamba Region. The time has come to evidence your traces in the history of our movement. Traces that in time will appear qualitative in nature, traces that seek to safeguard the best interests of our Movement to the bitter end, be it bitter, as mandated by our struggle icon, Comrade Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. The time has come to ascertain a stable future within the political fraternity, more especially in the ranks of the Mass Democratic Movement. A future that shall afford you the unequivocal opportunity to carve your name on the bright side of the walls bearing the names of our struggle Heros and Heroines. The side, praised in epitomal deeds that contribute tirelessly to the stable nature and character of our Movement, deeds instrumental in defeating the test of time. Visionary thoughts >From where I stand, I envisage an ANC where Leaders shall be Visionaries, and rejoice not with mass base when epitomal events occur, but criticise and weigh pro's and con's equitably so. I anticipate rebirth and regeneration of our Movement to incline towards Intellectualism. However emphasis is mirrored upon the stance advocating for an Intellectual regime, that is in order. Our Governance and Structural Leadership shall be characterised by such. Elavating the bar of impart and perceive politics, in a righteous act of deepening the roots of our beloved movement, the ANC. Prestigiously autonomous shall our movement remain in a soar above the rest. Precise prediction of political events and possible threats to our Movement in chronology, substantialize eager indication of intellectual trendeous behaviour. Forward to the reproduction of Movement conscious Intellectuals, forward. Mind you Comrade Chairperson, intellectual property is commodity scarce in its nature, hence reproduction of the said commodity possesses possible appreciation in relevance to mass base whilst boosting precision in delivery of service. Let us reproduce and groom Intellectuals. Leaders will come and go, but Visionaries will depart, only to the benefit of the Movement, in the sense that ideological thoughts will be left behind to serve generations of our movement. Dangerous is a psychologically fruitless aspirant leader. In order to remain relevant and for the Movement to parade utmost loyalty to your very person, ensure assetness to its well being. Militancy and discipline are two sides of the same point. Lead in absence of fear or favor. Eradicating hostile terrains in deepening democratical dominance of the MDM, however remains key pillar to the intensity of freedom. Fear not the evil deeds orchastrated by mankind, for you are also human, but rebel not as a matter of ethical principle. For men of high moral aptitude derail not from due plan. The unwise remain identifiable through their articulations, comments and rationale. Let people of this world disown you if need be, indeed you were not consolidated of human title deed, however remain unshaken in defending and pushing forth the mandate of the ANC. Encourage the 'value of the invisible,' the tendancy arousal of being enticed by intellectual growth, stressing both morally and psychologically, as opposed to socioeconomy factored appreciation. Perharps we are not aggressive enough as a result of being caught up in the spirit of reconciliation post 1994, maybe the appropriate time has now come to launch a revolutionary wave against the triple threat of unemployment, poverty and inequality. Entrusting your leadership Che Ernesto Guevera a Cuban revolution activist, originating in Rosario in Argentina once said, when requested to define his fellow Comrade, Fidel Castro, in his words he said, "Few times has a Statesman been more brilliant than Fidel." To these words I subscribe, few times has a Clergyman or a Regional Foreman been more brilliant than yourself, reading from Elective Regional Congress results, your intelligence is highly trusted in the solemn act of uniting the people of Ukhahlamba Region behind the entire MDM. All operations shall be smoothful with the unwavering backing of Intellectual Property. Political statements and actions, require substantially informed analysis. The intelligent and Visionaries respect the 'value of the invisible' in setting an exemplary trend for our conscious to be youth and entire populace. Allow not deployments to be falsely interpreted as being the best, but rather a hope instiller that indeed in the eyes of the masses, one still remains a reliable foot soldier of the movement. Avoid the tendancy of mistakening capacity as the routined reduplication of crammed theories in absence of thorough analysis and understanding. Indeed the ANC lives, the ANC leads. In conclusion, Upon accomplishment of the well set and outlined ANC aims and objectives, the rivers of Umtshezi, uMsunduze noThukela, the mountains of Ntabamhlophe, iPhasiwe noKhahlamba, the innovatively constructed national roads namely the N11 and the N3, izihlahla zoMlahlankosi mkanye nezoMdanishini, the resounding echo's of the lands of uMshayazafe, kwaMatshesi, uMqwabalanda, eZinyosini, eMqedandaba, eKhonifili, kwaShamene, kwaVumbu, eThembalihle, eZitendeni, eMngwenya, oBonjaneni, eMazizini, eMoyeni, eSitateni, kwaMadlaka, ekuVukeni, eJabavu naseNkuthu, shall all sing hymns of praise, for a good job well done. Mother nature shall replicably so, in return safeguard all your interests and aspirations. Good deeds and transparent governance is owed not only to us the masses, but also to the world which monitors us non-stop, since people and even prominent Superiors come and go, but the land of our forefathers remains the undying vanguard of expected mass based benefits. Lastly we, together with other Youth Leaders of our Region based and deployed elsewhere, reaffirm that we are well on our way back to reinforce the Youth League of our Region, Ukhahlamba. Uwusabe umhlaba Sihlalo, uwenzele okuhle kodwa, ikadeni unamehlo. Comrade Chairperson, embrace the assertion that, indeed Intellectualism remains the ultimate rescuer of prosperous leaders.
