Communications ====================================================== 11 June 2012 Press statement for immediate release Discrepancies on ANC interventions to the ANCYL. The ANCYL in Limpopo is challenged on the manner that dispute resolution of matters that requires urgency are given the last eye on basis of favour and exposed agendas of destroying the ANCYL. The ANC National leadership is continuing to play hide and seek on the matter that has got the potential to collapse the organization at its entirety and equally cripple the stance of the congress movement by virtue of their allegiance to hatred and anger. At the time the National Disciplinary Committee of Appeal suspended both the Secretary General and Spokesperson and also expelled the President of the ANCYL, we the membership of the ANCYL across the country raised our dissatisfaction and frustrations on the approach at which political issues are turned judicial and requested political solutions, this however fell onto unfertile soil within the NEC of the ANC. The call for Review is featuring but meeting the same avoidance, however, the ANCYL in Limpopo is thrown off balance by the pace at which the ANC through the Secretary General is intervening to impose rectification on the claimed to be incorrect passing of the motion of no confidence to the former Treasurer General of the ANCYL. We are meeting this conscious paralyzing situation on basis that the matter of the ANCYL President Comrade Julius Malema, the Secretary General Comrade Sindiso Magaqa and the National Spokesperson Comrade Floyd Shivambu came before these attempt to advice the ANCYL on how to deal with the issue of Pule Mabe whilst he still refuses to meet the ANCYL to discuss matters, these suggests to us that the ANC takes decisions of National importance based rumours. The ANCYL in Limpopo in the wake of this political trauma we are undergoing, took a decision to thoroughly implement the Resolutions of the 9th Provincial Conference and the NEC meetings of considering the President, Secretary General and Spokesperson of the ANCYL as our leaders until the lapse of their term of office in 2014. Thus, we are to start inviting them to all our Organizational events and programmes to be with and address us in line with their constitutional obligations as attached to their designations. Anybody who has a contrary view inclusive of the National leadership of the ANC must engage us, our request for a meeting with the leadership of the ANC which was made since the adjourn of our 24th National conference remains unamended. Members of the media are therefore informed to avoid misconception of the presence of our leaders in our events, as we are tired of being victimized on basis of sabotaging our call on policy transformation. We further congratulate the African National Congress in Limpopo for Convening the successfull Provincial General Council on Sunday the 10th June 2012 at Bolivia Lodge, which resolved on Nationalisation of Mines, Land Expropriation without Compensation, Seeking for Political Solutions on Disciplinary Matters between the National ANC and ANCYL (Review of the NDCA decision by the NEC), and Leadership Change at the National Conference of the ANC with principles of Generational Mix.
