THE GOOD THING ABOUT THESE TWO COMRADES IS THAT THEY ARE AMONG THE FEW COMMUNISTS WHO ARE NOT SHY TO SPEAK THEIR MIND. THEY ARE AMONG THE FEW COMMUNISTS WHO WILL NEVER SELL THEIR SOULS FOR POLITICAL EXPEDIENCE. ONE IS SENIOR TO THE OTHER BUT BOTH ARE COMMUNISTS WHO HAVE SERVED AT DIFFERENT LEVELS OF THE MOVEMENT, WITH CDE HOPE HAVING SERVED IN THE STUDENT MOVEMENT, YCL, SACP, FOCUS, ANC TO NAME A FEW OUR PREMIER HAS NOT MADE A MISTAKE IN APPOINTING THE COMRADE. WITH NKOSIPHENDULE HAVING SERVED IN THE LABOUR MOVEMENT, YCL, SACP, ANC TO NAME A FEW I ALSO BELIEVE THAT AN ERROR HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN APOINTING HIM ALSO. Detractors have mistaken these comrades' independence, in terms of thinking, to arrogance. Some insteading of noticing the good in independent thinkers they decide to see opposition. Let us all rejoice with these comrades and also wish Cde Humprey well for the miles he has traversed as the MEC. What took to him out of his position as the MEC does not make him less of a comrade. He is ours. There are no factions in our political structures and the whole alliance but factional individuals who would want to drive wishes for our communists along factional lines.
