*ANC Media Release, 27 July 2012* *Mobilising Young People behind the Banner of the ANC*National Executive Committee of the ANC and former President of the ANCYL Cde *Malusi Gigaba* together with the 24th National Conference Treasurer-General of the ANCYL Cde *Pule Mabe* will tomorrow, Saturday, 28th July 2012 address a rally in the Mopani Region of Limpopo Province under the theme "Mobilising Young People behind the Banner of the African National Congress".
The mass-rally program is a joint initiative of the Mohale Mahlaba and Chris Hani Branches of the ANCYL in the Mopani Region after identifying the need to restore and defend the integrity of the ANC as well as asserting its role as the leader of society.
The program is also inspired by the need to utilize past and present leaders of the ANCYL to educate and deepen understanding amongst the youth on the reach history of the ANC as well as asserting their role on the rightful battle for economic emancipation and greater participation in societal renewal and development.
Other Mass Democratic Movement (MDM) structures expected to grace the historic event include the SACP, COSATU, SASCO, MK and COSAS.
The scheduled rally will be held as follows:
