Statement on the dismissal of KwaMhlanga Hopsital CEO 8Nvemver2012 YCLSA in Ephraim Mogale District Mpumalanga welcomes the long over due dismissal of the CEO of KwaMhlanga Hospital on the 5th November 2012 and we are of the opinion that for starters she was not suppose to be given such a complex and demanding responsibility of running an institution of this magnitude which involves lives of the working class community because she is not qualified, we understand that she is a teacher by profession, however, we are not surprised because we are in Mpumalanga a haven for corruption. YCLSA in the District has learnt that progressive branches of NEHAWU and DENOSA in KwaMhlanga Hospital respectively leveled allegations of corruption, maladmnistration and abuse of office authority against the CEO and they have been vindicated because the corrupt CEO was finally found guilty after an unannounced visit by the Premier of the province Mr DD Mabuza. However, we are disdain and perturbed by the developments that she has been redeployed somewhere instead of being permanently dismissed, we will try to convene a meeting with the unions to chart a way forward on this matter. A person of such a low calibre must not be given any further responsibility in the Health sector as she failed dismally to run the hospital that has dilapidated, suffering from issues of hygiene and patients dying like flies without any professional attendance by the unmotivated stuff under the leadership of the corrupt and self-centred CEO, we will trace her whereabouts and demand for her permanent obliteration in the sector.
